Geggs Getaways held its first travel show at Blackpool Stanley Park Golf Club on September 24, 2026, attracting over 200 customers to the event.

The agency secured £11,000 in bookings on the night and generated an additional £50,000 in enquiries that are currently being pursued.

Thirteen travel suppliers exhibited at the event, including MSC Cruises, Marella Cruises, P&O Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Newmarket Holidays, Africa & Beyond, and First Class Holidays. Cruise packages and holidays to Florida were particularly popular among attendees.

Homeworking by Inspire supported Geggs Getaways in staging the event, helping to secure exhibitors and raffle prizes as well

as providing marketing assistance. Three representatives from the Inspire Group head office—Sam Fisher, Stacey Wilson, and Alice Victoria Whalley—were present at the show.

Ryan Anthoney, owner of Geggs Getaways, credited supplier support for the event’s success, stating, “None of it would have been possible without the fantastic support of our suppliers, who really got behind the event, and I’d like to thank every one of them.” Lisa Henning, CEO of Inspire Group, also remarked on the event’s impact, noting, “Supporting our agents to make events like this happen is exactly what we’re here for. It’s a great example of how

independent homeworking agents can drive business in their community and raise their local profile.” Anthoney confirmed plans are already underway for a second show next year.

The event included a raffle that raised £500 for Dementia UK. One of the prizes was a three-night stay at Palazzo Versace Dubai, donated by Galaxi.
