The latest model of France’s high-speed train, the TGV-M, has been granted market authorization by the European Railway Agency (ERA). This regulatory approval is a crucial step ahead of the train’s introduction into passenger service across France.
SNCF plans to deploy the TGV-M as part of its efforts to modernize the national high-speed rail network. The new trains will feature increased seating capacity and offer more environmentally friendly travel options compared to earlier models, aligning with SNCF’s commitment to greener transportation.
