Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), Thailand’s leading integrated lifestyle real estate group, and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor, officially opened Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit on August 23, 2026. This hotel, located in the heart of Sukhumvit, Bangkok, marks Fairmont’s first property in Thailand and is positioned as a luxury lifestyle and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) destination.

The hotel comprises 416 rooms and features architectural design by A49 and interiors curated by Thai design firm PIA, inspired by Thailand’s floral heritage. The property is built to LEED Gold standards, incorporating biophilic design, water recycling, smart energy systems,

EV charging stations, superior air quality controls, and a heat-reduction façade.

MICE Facilities Offered

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit offers more than 2,000 square meters of flexible event space across three floors for meetings, exhibitions, weddings, and galas. The Signature Grand Ballroom has a 12-meter-high ceiling and a dedicated arrival forecourt. Additional event spaces include a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms, and Couture Hall.

Innovative Co-Living and Social Spaces

A first-of-its-kind co-living concept provides flexible recreational and social spaces such as areas for board games, video games, and movie viewing, enhancing guest interaction beyond traditional meeting environments.

Phased Dining and Entertainment Openings

Seven distinctive dining venues will open progressively throughout 2026. Initial venues include Harper’s

North American-French brasserie, AELA Social Bar, CAYA Pool Club, and the Wiggle Room supper club opening mid-September 2026. By December 2026, rooftop dining concepts will launch on floors 32 and 33, featuring a contemporary Thai restaurant and an Italian restaurant with Japanese influences, offering panoramic city views.

Wellness and Spa Facilities

Wellness amenities include Fairmont Spa, spanning over 1,000 square meters and inspired by the jasmine flower symbolizing Thai hospitality. The Fairmont Studio offers yoga, cardio, and strength training facilities, complemented by family-oriented spaces for multi-generational guests.

ASAVA, a Thai fashion house, designed the hotel’s signature uniforms. The hotel is operated by AWC, with

Mrs. Wallapa Traisorat, CEO and President of AWC, hosting the opening ceremony. Mr. Jerome Lobier serves as General Manager of Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit.

Mrs. Wallapa Traisorat described the opening as a special milestone marking Fairmont’s arrival in Thailand, highlighting collaboration with Accor and the creation of a new luxury and MICE destination in Sukhumvit. Mr. Jerome Lobier emphasized the partnership aims to combine Fairmont’s brand with Bangkok’s cultural energy to attract international visitors and enhance Bangkok’s status as a business and leisure destination.

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit supports Thailand’s tourism and business event sectors by providing sustainable, high-end accommodations and event

spaces aligned with AWC’s mission of “Building Better Future.”
