Fairmont Hotels & Resorts officially opened Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit on August 18, 2026, marking the brand’s inaugural property in Thailand. The hotel offers 416 guestrooms and 58 suites, situated in Bangkok’s bustling Sukhumvit neighborhood. This launch forms part of Accor Group’s strategic expansion in Southeast Asia, enhancing its portfolio in the region.
Design Inspired by Thai Botanical Heritage
The hotel was designed by Thai architecture and interior firm PIA, reflecting Thailand’s rich floral heritage through modern design elements. A standout feature is the lobby chandelier, crafted to resemble the golden ratchaphruek blossom, Thailand’s national flower. This chandelier consists of 4,166 glass pieces and over 35,000 crystal
balls, integrating botanical motifs throughout the guestrooms and communal spaces.
Culinary Venues and Entertainment Opening Through 2026
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit will house seven distinct culinary venues by the end of 2026. Notably, Wiggle Room, a cabaret-style supper club, is set to open in mid-September 2026 with a private entrance on Sukhumvit Soi 18. By December 2026, two rooftop dining concepts will debut on level 33: one merging Italian and Japanese culinary influences and another focusing on contemporary Thai cuisine, all featuring expansive views of Bangkok.
Wellness Facilities and Guest Wellbeing
The hotel incorporates wellness into the guest experience, aligned with Fairmont’s Wellness Without Walls philosophy. Fairmont Spa, inspired by the jasmine flower,
offers treatments designed for lasting benefits. The property includes Fairmont Studio with dedicated spaces for yoga, cardio, and strength training, plus the Fairmont Fit program to support guests’ personal wellness routines during their stay.
Event Spaces and Family-Friendly Services
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit provides over 21,500 square feet (2,000 square meters) of event area across three floors. Central to this is a Grand Ballroom with a 12-meter ceiling height designed for conferences, weddings, and social events. The hotel also offers a Kids Club for families and accommodates pets up to 30 kilograms with dedicated amenities. The Fairmont Gold experience delivers private reception services, an exclusive lounge,
and personalized concierge support.
Sustainability, Partnerships, and Booking Information
Developed in partnership with Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), the hotel meets LEED Gold standards, incorporating biophilic design, water recycling, smart energy systems, superior air quality, electric vehicle charging, and a heat-reducing facade. AWC’s sustainability mission underpins the project, reinforcing Bangkok’s status as a global destination.
