Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC) and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts officially opened the Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit on August 23, 2026, marking the debut of the Fairmont brand in Thailand. The 416-room hotel is situated in the heart of Sukhumvit, Bangkok, and is positioned as a luxury lifestyle and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) destination.
Design and Interior Features
The hotel’s interior design draws inspiration from Thailand’s floral heritage through the ‘Blooming Stage’ concept developed by Thai design practice PIA. Architectural design was provided by A49. Floral motifs are embedded throughout the property, including a lobby chandelier modeled on the golden Ratchaphruek
blossom, the national flower of Thailand. Thai fashion house ASAVA designed signature uniforms that merge Fairmont’s global luxury standards with Thai creative elements.
MICE and Co-Living Facilities
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit offers more than 2,000 square meters of event space distributed across three floors, catering to international conferences, weddings, and gala dinners. The Signature Grand Ballroom features a 12-meter-high ceiling and a dedicated arrival forecourt. Additional event venues include a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms, Couture Hall, and versatile meeting areas. The hotel also introduces an innovative co-living concept with flexible recreational and social spaces aimed at enhancing guests’ connectivity beyond traditional hotel lounges, supporting
board games, video games, and movie viewing.
Dining and Entertainment
Seven distinctive dining and entertainment venues are being rolled out progressively throughout 2026. Early offerings include Harper’s, a North American-French brasserie; AELA Social Bar; CAYA Pool Club; and the immersive supper club Wiggle Room, scheduled for mid-September launch. By December 2026, rooftop dining options will open, featuring an Italian restaurant with Japanese influences and a contemporary Thai restaurant with panoramic views of Bangkok.
Wellness and Family Amenities
The hotel’s wellness facilities include the Fairmont Spa, which spans over 1,000 square meters and is inspired by the jasmine flower, symbolizing Thai hospitality. Fairmont Studio offers yoga, cardio, and
strength training spaces, complemented by family-oriented facilities and experiences accommodating guests of multiple generations.
Sustainability Initiatives
Designed to meet LEED Gold standards, Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit incorporates sustainability features such as biophilic design elements, water recycling systems, smart energy management, superior indoor air quality, electric vehicle charging stations, and a heat-reduction façade. These environmental initiatives align with AWC’s mission of ‘Building Better Future’ and their Sustainable Growth-led Strategy.
