In November 2027, Disney Cruise Line will for the first time homeport its three newest ships—Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny—simultaneously at Port Canaveral, Florida. This development increases options for travelers seeking combined Disney cruise and Walt Disney World vacations.
Disney Wish’s 2027 Itinerary From Europe to Port Canaveral
Prior to joining Port Canaveral, Disney Wish will operate summer cruises in Europe, concluding with a transatlantic voyage from Southampton, UK, to New York City. This transatlantic itinerary includes calls in Scotland, Iceland, and Canada. Following arrival in New York City, Disney Wish will sail seven cruises to Bermuda, Canada, and New England in fall 2027. On October 31,
2027, Disney Wish departs New York City for San Juan, Puerto Rico, before repositioning to Port Canaveral on November 16. Once based at Port Canaveral, Disney Wish will offer three- and four-night Bahamian cruises with stops at Disney’s private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny Join Disney Wish at Port Canaveral
Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, both Wish-class sister ships, will join Disney Wish at Port Canaveral starting November 2027. Disney Treasure will present “The Tale of Moana” as its signature show during cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Disney Destiny will relocate from Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral for the first
time as a homeport, offering cruises lasting three to seven nights to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. The move brings Disney Destiny’s heroes-and-villains-themed entertainment closer to Walt Disney World, enhancing vacation flexibility for families visiting the Orlando theme parks.
Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream Sailings and Repositioning in 2027
Before the Wish-class trio converges, Disney Fantasy will operate from Port Canaveral between September and November 2027. Disney Dream will sail briefly from Port Canaveral before relocating to Fort Lauderdale later in the year.
Fleet Growth and Booking Information
Disney Cruise Line’s expansion continues with the launch of Disney Believe, the fourth Wish-class vessel, scheduled for late 2027. Additionally, four more new ships will join the
fleet from 2029 onward, increasing the total to 13 ships. Select Castaway Club members may start booking fall 2027 cruises on August 31, 2026, while bookings for the general public open September 8, 2026. MEI-Travel, a trusted Disney partner, offers free vacation-planning services to assist travelers with Disney cruise bookings.
Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line operations, said the company is “delighted to return to a guest-favorite port in New York, and continue visiting destinations throughout the Caribbean and beyond with our growing fleet.” Beci Mahnken, CEO of MEI-Travel and Mouse Fan Travel, emphasized
that the expanded Port Canaveral lineup offers families more flexibility to coordinate Disney land-and-sea vacations that fit their schedules and budgets.
