Disney Cruise Line began general bookings on September 8, 2026, for its Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 sailing season. Prior to this, eligible Castaway Club members accessed reservations early starting August 31, 2026. The lineup covers all eight ships in the fleet and includes new itineraries such as the Disney Wish’s New York City season and Panama Canal crossings for the Disney Magic, as reported by BlogMickey.com.
Disney Wish’s New York Itineraries from September to November 2027
The Disney Wish will operate seven itineraries out of New York City from late September through early November 2027. These cruises range from four to seven nights. Five of the seven sailings include
stops in Bermuda, with three of those featuring an extended day in King’s Wharf. For the first time in nearly four years, the ship will also visit New England and Atlantic Canada ports including Saint John, Boston, Halifax, Charlottetown, and Sydney. One voyage concludes the season with a one-way sailing from New York to San Juan, Puerto Rico. All seven New York itineraries are open for booking as of the general sale date.
Disney Magic’s Panama Canal Crossings and Seasonal Movements
The Disney Magic will make two 14-night repositioning cruises through the Panama Canal during the season. The eastbound journey will include a maiden call at Fuerte Amador
near Panama City, while the westbound crossing will stop in Colón on the Caribbean side. These repositioning cruises prioritize longer days at sea over port time, providing more onboard activities and dining options. The Disney Magic will alternate between a shared San Diego season with the Disney Wonder and a Galveston season offering four- to seven-night sailings. Selected seven-night Bahamian itineraries from Galveston will call at both Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay.
Disney Destiny’s First Port Canaveral Homeport Season
For the first time, the Disney Destiny will homeport at Port Canaveral during the 2027-2028 season. The ship opens with three- to five-night
Bahamas and Western Caribbean sailings from Fort Lauderdale before transitioning to Port Canaveral. There, it will offer cruises lasting three to seven nights. This addition means Port Canaveral will host three Disney ships concurrently: the Disney Wish, Disney Destiny, and Disney Treasure.
Port Canaveral Ships and Expanded Caribbean Itineraries
The Disney Wish returns to Port Canaveral after its New York and San Juan seasons for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises. These include stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The Disney Treasure maintains a schedule of seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral, complemented by one eight-night Eastern Caribbean and
one six-night Bahamian cruise with two stops at Disney Castaway Cay.
Both the Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy offer new itineraries from San Juan, Puerto Rico. These five- to seven-night Southern and Eastern Caribbean sailings provide alternative embarkation options for travelers. The Disney Fantasy also operates four- and five-night cruises from Port Canaveral and follows with four- to seven-night sailings from Fort Lauderdale. The Fantasy makes a first-time Bermuda call on an eight-night cruise that visits both of Disney Cruise Line’s private Bahamian island destinations.
The Disney Dream starts the season with three- and four-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral
before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027. It will undertake a six-night cruise featuring two stops at Disney Castaway Cay.
Disney Adventure’s New Singapore Itineraries and Langkawi Call
The Disney Adventure introduces new three- and four-night cruises from Singapore scheduled between September and December 2027. Selected sailings between December 31, 2026, and May 2027 include a new port of call in Langkawi, Malaysia. This stop adds opportunities for guests to explore the island’s rainforests and coastline.
Seasonal Themed Cruises
Seasonal offerings return with the Halloween on the High Seas sailings starting in September 2027, followed by Very Merrytime cruises in November and December. These festive cruises feature holiday decorations and
visits from Santa Claus.
Booking Availability and Traveler Planning
