Disney Cruise Line plans to launch its fourth Wish-class ship, Disney Believe, on December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Bookings for the new vessel will open to the public on October 19, 2026, with presales available before that date.
Disney Believe will offer four- and five-night cruises from South Florida to Caribbean and Bahamian destinations, including calls at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The ship will join sister vessels Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny in the Wish-class fleet.
Flagship Entertainment: The ‘Encanto’ Musical
The Disney Believe will debut the first-ever stage adaptation of
the Academy Award-winning Disney Animation film, “Encanto.” The musical follows the story of Mirabel as she strives to save her family home. It features vibrant Colombian cultural elements, traditional dances, and songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda such as “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.” This marks the first presentation of “Encanto” on a cruise ship, emphasizing cultural authenticity.
Additional Shows and Theatrical Experiences
The ship will also host “Tangled: The Musical,” returning from other Wish-class ships with updated set designs and effects tailored for Disney Believe’s larger theatre. The consistent story and script will accompany these technical enhancements. Additionally, guests can enjoy “Disney Seas
the Adventure,” an original Wish-class production featuring Disney and Pixar characters and songs.
New and Returning Venues on Disney Believe
The Disney Believe’s Grand Hall, the ship’s main gathering area, is themed around the film “Moana” and Pacific Island culture. It features a statue of Moana with companions Pua and Heihei, ocean-colored carpets with bioluminescent details, and a chandelier inspired by sea fluidity housing the Heart of Te Fiti. The Grand Hall incorporates fiber optic lighting to simulate constellations and is adjacent to venues hosting storytelling characters Percival, a stargazer scholar, and Professor Philomena, a plant expert, known collectively as Story Sea-kers.
Guest lounges include Sea Notes,
an iridescent piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto from “The Little Mermaid,” offering signature cocktails like the Sea Salt Martini and non-alcoholic Under the Seaweed. Wishing Well, themed after Disney’s original 1937 film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” offers live music amidst a stained glass and hand-carved wood setting. Skygazers, an observatory-themed pub, features astronomical decor with craft brews, cocktails, and light bites.
Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast introduces a new family dining show set in an enchanted summer forest courtyard, starring characters Oaken, Anna, and Kristoff. It presents reimagined “Frozen” songs with a focus on family humor
and reunion rather than princess narratives. Gazelle, inspired by Disney’s “Zootopia,” serves as a two-story entertainment hub hosting family activities by day and adult events by night.
Additional Amenities and Dining
Children’s club offerings aboard Disney Believe include Disney’s Oceaneer Club, It’s a Small World Nursery, The Edge, Vibe, and The Hideaway. The ship also incorporates themed dining venues such as Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora, drawing from “Big Hero 6” and “Moana,” respectively. Returning favorites include the Haunted Mansion Parlor bar, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, and The Rose lounge.
