The Disney Believe cruise ship, the fourth vessel in Disney Cruise Line’s Wish-class series, will embark on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ship’s inaugural season features 29 sailings through May 2028, with four- and five-night itineraries that include stops at Nassau, Cozumel, Disney Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Entertainment Lineup Includes First-Ever ‘Encanto’ Musical and Family Venues

Disney Believe will premiere the first musical adaptation of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” on a cruise ship, staged in the Walt Disney Theatre. The production follows protagonist Mirabel’s journey to save her family and home, featuring

music composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, including the songs “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.” Additional theatrical performances include a redesigned “Tangled: The Musical” and “Disney Seas the Adventure.” The ship also introduces the Gazelle entertainment hub inspired by the “Zootopia” films, offering family activities by day and adults-only experiences at night.

New Dining and Lounge Venues Feature ‘Frozen’ and Disney Classics Themes

The ship’s new family dining venue, Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, takes guests into a summer forest setting featuring characters such as Oaken, Anna, and Kristoff. This venue presents a musical experience with punk-influenced renditions of “Frozen” songs, contrasting earlier dining productions. Sea Notes, a piano

lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto from “The Little Mermaid,” serves handcrafted cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages including the Sea Salt Martini and Under the Seaweed. Other themed lounges include Wishing Well, inspired by “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” offering live music and thematic décor, plus Skygazers, a magical, observatory-themed pub serving craft beers and cocktails.

Design and Theming Centered on Moana and Oceanic Elements

The Disney Believe’s Grand Hall features a Moana-themed design with statues of Moana, Pua, and Heihei set against a backdrop inspired by Pacific Island cultures. The space incorporates bioluminescent colored carpeting and a chandelier symbolizing the sea’s fluid movement, featuring the Heart of Te Fiti.

Story Sea-kers characters Percival and Professor Philomena inhabit the Grand Hall and other areas, enhancing the ship’s narrative. The design extends to stateroom decorations inspired by Moana, Coco, and The Lion King.

Family and Adult Amenities Include Clubs, Nurseries, and Specialty Dining

Disney Believe provides family-friendly accommodations including children’s clubs and a nursery for younger guests. Adult-only areas include the Quiet Cove retreat and specialty restaurants such as Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement. Returning venues from earlier ships include the AquaMouse water attraction, Haunted Mansion Parlor bar, The Rose lounge, and rotational dining experiences 1923 and Worlds of Marvel.
