Disney Cruise Line announced its newest ship, Disney Believe, will set sail on its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on December 18, 2027. Bookings for the 29 inaugural sailings of four- and five-night Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries will open to the general public on October 19, 2026, with pre-sale windows commencing earlier for select Castaway Club members.
Disney Believe to Feature First-Ever ‘Encanto’ Musical at Sea
The Disney Believe will be the first cruise ship to present the ‘Encanto’ musical, adapting the Academy Award-winning Walt Disney Animation Studios film into a stage production for the ship’s Walt Disney Theatre. The show follows Mirabel’s journey to
save her family and their magical home, incorporating songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda from the film such as “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.” This musical will premiere on the ship’s maiden voyage on December 18, 2027.
Additional Entertainment Venues and Broadway-Style Shows
Alongside ‘Encanto,’ Disney Believe will stage other Broadway-style productions including a reimagined version of “Tangled: The Musical” and “Disney Seas the Adventure,” a multi-character show exclusive to the Wish-class ships. The ship’s entertainment hubs will include Gazelle, inspired by Disney’s “Zootopia,” offering family programming during the day and adult-only events in the evening. The Wishing Well lounge will channel a Snow White
theme with live musical performances, while Skygazers will serve as a magical observatory-style pub hosting craft brews and specialty cocktails.
Dining and Adult-Only Facilities on Disney Believe
New dining options aboard Disney Believe include Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, featuring characters and songs from “Frozen” in a family-friendly summer forest setting. Sea Notes offers a piano lounge inspired by “The Little Mermaid,” while Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora provide themed café experiences. The ship also hosts the Inside Out: Joyful Sweets confectionary. Adult-exclusive venues include the Skygazers pub, the Quiet Cove infinity pool retreat, Palo Steakhouse, and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement.
