Disney Cruise Line announced that bookings for its newest ship, the Disney Believe, will begin on October 19, 2026, at 8 a.m. Eastern Time. The Disney Believe’s maiden voyage is scheduled for December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on a five-night Bahamian cruise calling at Nassau along with Disney’s private destinations Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Tiered Early Booking Windows for Members
Exclusive early booking periods are available for several member groups starting October 12, 2026, also at 8 a.m. ET. Castaway Club members have tiered booking windows by membership level: Pearl members on October 12, Platinum on October
13, Gold on October 14, and Silver on October 15. Disney Vacation Club members and Adventures by Disney Adventure Insiders can begin booking October 15, 2026. Due to anticipated demand, booking online or through authorized travel agents is recommended to avoid call delays.
Inaugural Season Itineraries
The Disney Believe will offer 29 sailings between December 2027 and May 2028. The itineraries include four- and five-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Ports of call
include Nassau, Cozumel in Mexico, Disney Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay. The maiden voyage features a five-night cruise visiting Castaway Cay, Nassau, and Lookout Cay. There is a special Disney Vacation Club member-exclusive five-night sailing on January 5, 2028.
Onboard Features and Accommodations
Entertainment onboard the Disney Believe includes the world’s first stage adaptation of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto,” the returning shows “Tangled: The Musical” and “Disney Seas the Adventure,” and a new “Zootopia” stage show. Dining highlights feature “Oaken’s Table,” a family feast inspired by “Frozen” with live entertainment. The ship offers over 450 connecting stateroom doors with approximately 70% of
accommodations featuring verandahs. Stateroom categories include Concierge, Verandah, Oceanview, and Inside rooms. Premium suites include four royal suites and the nearly 2,000 square foot Believe Tower Suite, accommodating up to eight guests.
Design Themes and Amenities
The Disney Believe’s design incorporates Disney stories themed around belief and courage, with a Grand Hall inspired by “Moana.” Sculptures of Buzz Lightyear and Woody appear at the stern, while Tinker Bell is positioned at the bow. Family and adult offerings include children’s clubs for tweens and teens, a nursery, an adult-only Quiet Cove infinity pool, and specialty restaurants Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté. The Gazelle venue offers family
programming during the day and adult-oriented activities at night.
Fleet Expansion and Booking Conditions
As the ninth Disney Cruise Line ship and the fourth in the Wish class, the Disney Believe continues Disney’s fleet expansion plan to reach 13 ships by late 2030. It joins sister ships Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. Travel advisors booking the maiden voyage must comply with a non-refundable 10% deposit and restrictions on date changes and cancellations apply only to this sailing. Disney recommends early booking to secure preferred accommodations and avoid booking delays.
