Disney Cruise Line announced that its new ship, Disney Believe, will embark on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This vessel is the fourth in the Wish class fleet, joining Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. Public bookings for the Disney Believe open at 8 a.m. ET on October 19, 2026, following a pre-sale schedule starting October 12, 2026 targeted at select Disney members and travel advisors.
Sailing Routes and Itinerary
Disney Believe will operate 29 inaugural season sailings from December 18, 2027 through May 2028, offering four- and five-night voyages from south Florida
to destinations in the Caribbean and The Bahamas. The ship’s ports of call include exclusive Disney Cruise Line private islands, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Design Features and Theming
The ship’s central gathering location, the Moana-themed Grand Hall, features statues of Moana and her companions Pua and Heihei, an ocean-inspired carpet with bioluminescent colors, and a chandelier reflecting sea movements with the Heart of Te Fiti motif. Unique to the Disney Believe are two Story Sea-kers characters named Percival and Professor Philomena, who complement the storytelling theme onboard. Fiber optic lighting creates constellation effects on the Grand Hall ceiling.
Entertainment Offerings
The Disney Believe will debut the first-ever Encanto musical on a Disney Cruise Line ship, adapting the Academy Award-winning film with traditional Colombian cultural elements, dynamic costumes, and songs composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Additional stage productions include Tangled: The Musical with enhanced set designs and Disney Seas the Adventure. The ship’s entertainment hub, Gazelle, inspired by the Zootopia films, will provide family and adult programming in a two-story venue.
Dining and Lounges
Dining highlights include Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, an interactive family experience featuring characters such as Oaken, Anna, and Kristoff, set in a sommerhus courtyard with musical performances. The ship
also presents three new lounge concepts: Sea Notes—a piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto; Wishing Well—an adults-only space themed on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with live music and cocktails; and Skygazers—an observatory-themed pub serving craft brews and specialty drinks.
Booking Details and Accommodation
Bookings for Disney Believe begin with a pre-sale that starts on October 12, 2026, for Pearl Castaway Club members, followed by tiers for Platinum, Gold, and Silver members. Eligible Disney Vacation Club members and Adventures by Disney Adventure Insiders can also book from October 15, 2026. A 10% non-refundable deposit applies to maiden voyage bookings, which are subject to
date change restrictions. Travelers are encouraged to use authorized planners such as Be Our Guest Vacations for early reservations.
The ship features more than 450 connecting staterooms and offers verandahs on approximately 70% of accommodations. Premium lodging includes four royal suites and the nearly 2,000-square-foot Believe Tower Suite, which accommodates up to eight guests.

Disney Believe sustains established guest favorites including the AquaMouse water attraction, the Haunted Mansion Parlor, and themed cafés like Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora, maintaining continuity with the existing Wish-class ships.
