The Cuban government has revised its hotel sector policy, enabling Cuban nationals both within the country and overseas to take on management roles in hotels. This measure aims to maintain the operation of the tourism sector amidst shifting dynamics in hotel management on the island.
Previously dominated by international hotel chains, the Cuban market has recently seen a withdrawal of these foreign operators. This policy adjustment by the Cuban authorities comes as a response to the departures, seeking to ensure continuity and stability in the hotel industry.
