
The California High-Speed Rail Authority has awarded a contract valued at approximately $3.5 billion to a consortium led by Kiewit. This agreement covers construction efforts related to the installation of track and electrified rail systems.
Work under this contract will focus on the Central Valley section of the state’s high-speed rail project. The scope includes the laying of track and installation of rail electrification infrastructure essential for the operation of the high-speed trains in this region.
