Royal Caribbean has canceled all visits to Labadee for 2026 due to security concerns in Haiti, affecting dozens of cruise itineraries. Alternative ports and sea days will replace Labadee stops for impacted cruises.

The Scarlet Lady cruise ship was denied entry into ports in Turkey and Egypt in July 2026, affecting about 2,000 passengers. The Mediterranean itinerary was disrupted after the ship was refused access to Kuşadası, Istanbul, and Alexandria.

Carnival Cruise Line cut steel for Carnival Destiny, the first Ace Class ship, on July 10, 2026, at Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. Delivery is planned for summer 2029 with Caribbean, Bahamas, and Mexico destinations.
