Greece led European tourism in early 2026 with arrivals up 38% and spending rising 64.3%. Italy followed with a 21% increase in visitors, as Europe’s tourism sector shows resilience despite geopolitical disruptions.

Dorset has launched a 10-year tourism strategy targeting international visitors to expand its £1.66 billion visitor economy. The plan focuses on reducing seasonal reliance and promoting year-round tourism.

Viking’s new 54,300-ton cruise ship will use liquid hydrogen fuel cells supplying about one-third of its propulsion power. The vessel will be refueled at ports using crane-loaded liquid hydrogen containers due to lack of pump infrastructure.
