Network Rail will close the Hastings line between Tonbridge and Wadhurst for nine days from October 24 to November 1, 2026. Rail replacement buses will operate the route during this period due to essential track renewal and maintenance.

Breeze Airways will launch 11 new nonstop routes from Myrtle Beach International Airport in 2027, increasing its total nonstop destinations to 25. This expansion follows Spirit Airlines’ May 2026 shutdown and will make Breeze the airport's largest carrier.

Breeze Airways will start nonstop flights from Columbus to Myrtle Beach in May 2027. The airline announced the year-round service in October 2026.
