Vietnam recorded 1.68 million inbound tourists in June 2026, raising arrivals to 12.3 million in H1 with a 14.9% increase year-on-year. The country targets 25 million visitors and $43 billion in tourism revenue for 2026.

Royal Caribbean is canceling all 2026 cruise calls to Labadee, Haiti, due to continued gang violence in Port-au-Prince. Alternate ports or sea days will replace Labadee stops on affected itineraries.

Carnival Cruise Line began construction of the Carnival Destiny ship on July 10, 2026, at the Fincantieri yard in Italy. The vessel will be delivered in summer 2029 as the first ship in the Ace Class series with a record number of ocean-facing balcony cabins.
