Two back-to-back hurricanes Polo and Rachel forced Pacific cruise lines to change itineraries, canceling ports such as Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. Cruise lines replaced some stops with Sea Days and offered refunds and onboard credits.

Disney Cruise Line expanded its Placeholder Reservation discount list to include sailings through September 2027, with savings up to 25%. Existing reservations will automatically receive higher discounts where eligible.

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises will implement simplified cancellation penalty tiers and move final payment deadlines earlier starting October 11, 2026. Penalties will now also apply to third and fourth guests in reservations.
