Peachtree Group inaugurated a 264-room dual-branded hotel in Uptown Dallas in early November 2026, combining AC Hotel Dallas Uptown and Moxy Dallas Uptown under one roof. Located in one of Dallas’ major business and lifestyle districts, the property was developed in partnership with Phoenix Development Partners and is managed by Peachtree’s hospitality management division.

Hotel Features and Guest Amenities

The hotel offers 110 rooms under the AC Hotel brand and 154 rooms under the Moxy brand. Shared amenities at the property include a 1,000-square-foot fitness center, flexible spaces for meetings and events, and High Point, an indoor-outdoor rooftop bar providing views of the Dallas skyline.

High Point features a 16-by-9-foot LED wall designed for private events, social gatherings, and game-day viewings.

Guests at AC Hotel Dallas Uptown can access AC Kitchen, which serves a European-inspired breakfast, and the AC Library, a workspace and lounge. Moxy Dallas Uptown provides social areas and Bar Moxy, which offers cocktails, coffee, and light snacks. The integration of the AC Hotel’s sophisticated European design with Moxy’s lively, lifestyle-focused environment creates a dynamic hospitality experience.

Dallas Business Growth Driving Hospitality Demand

Dallas has drawn significant corporate investment, especially within the financial services sector, helping solidify its status as a top U.S. business destination, according to Peachtree Group

CEO Greg Friedman. Uptown Dallas, situated at the core of this growth, presents a favorable setting for hospitality projects.

Regional corporate developments include Goldman Sachs’ plan for an 800,000-square-foot campus and Morgan Stanley’s pursuit of a nearly $700 million regional headquarters. Financial institutions like Scotiabank, Jefferies Financial Group, and UBS are also expanding or establishing significant regional operations in Uptown Dallas. Such activity fuels demand for business travel, lodging, and entertainment options.

Executive Perspectives on the New Development

Greg Friedman said, “Dallas continues to attract significant corporate investment, particularly in financial services, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s leading business destinations.” He added that

combining the two Marriott brands enables the hotel to serve a wider array of travelers while reflecting the evolving Uptown neighborhood.

John Schellhase, Peachtree Group’s vice president of investments, described Dallas as a market with “tremendous long-term opportunity” and expressed pride in contributing to Uptown’s growth and vitality. Peachtree’s President of Hospitality Management, Vickie Callahan, noted that merging AC Hotel and Moxy offers operational efficiencies and delivers a more varied guest experience.

Peachtree Group’s Expanding Texas Portfolio

The Dallas property complements Peachtree Group’s growing Texas hospitality holdings. It follows the recent launch of a 171-room Residence Inn San Antonio Riverwalk and precedes a planned 480-room

dual-branded Embassy Suites by Hilton and Tempo by Hilton hotel in downtown Austin. These projects are part of Peachtree’s strategy to invest in high-growth Texas markets driven by business expansion and population increases.
