Jet2 Introduces New Flight Routes from UK Airports

Jet2 will launch new flights from Edinburgh to Pula starting May 2, 2027, and from Luton to Dubrovnik beginning May 7, 2027. These routes increase connectivity between the UK and Croatia.

New Hotel Developments Near Dubrovnik and Opatija

New hotels opening in 2027 include the Marriott Opatija Resort and Spa and the Hilton Lopud Beach Resort and Spa near Dubrovnik. The Croatian National Tourist Board expects higher quality accommodation through a mix

of Croatian and international hotel chains.

Year-Round Tourism Growth Strategy

Responding to increasing interest in city breaks and gastronomy, the Croatian National Tourist Board’s strategy focuses on extending the high summer season into shoulder and winter seasons. UK marketing campaigns in 2027 will promote Christmas markets in Zagreb, Osijek, and Varaždin.

Winter offerings include snowy experiences in Croatia’s mountains and national parks. Director Kristjan Staničić noted, “Clients can also experience our mountains and national parks in the winter season, with the snow, which is a special experience.”

The Croatian National Tourist Board plans fam trips for UK travel agents in 2027 to familiarize them

with Croatia’s tourism offerings. Staničić said, “We will be organising fam trips to Croatia, because we think this is the best way to get to know what we are offering.”
