Accor has launched its Emblems Collection brand in North America with the opening of Rimrock Banff resort located within Banff National Park, Canada. This marks the brand’s second global property after Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa in England, which opened in November 2025. The resort underwent redevelopment to integrate the facility with the surrounding mountain environment prior to reopening.
Accommodation at Rimrock Banff
Rimrock Banff features 320 rooms, including 57 suites. The infinity two-bedroom Suite has an exterior wraparound terrace of over 1,260 square feet, equipped with a barrel sauna, fire table, and views of the park. Wellness Studio suites provide fitness apparatus, recovery
items, minibars, sleep-oriented provisions, and access to a sports gear-lending scheme.
Wellness Facilities
Wellness infrastructure includes two facilities: a 9,600 square foot Bathhouse and a 3,800 square foot Active Centre. The Bathhouse contains indoor and outdoor hydrothermal zones with vitality and hot pools, an infinity pool with mountain views, cold plunge baths, a salt sauna, an aromatic steam facility, an Aurora sensory chamber, and a suspended meditation space. The Active Centre features Peloton and Technogym machinery, bouldering installations, fitness classes, and physical therapy offerings.
Guest Excursions and Dining
Guest excursions are managed by hotel guides through an on-site Expeditions Centre coordinating over 50 seasonal itineraries. Excursion
categories include nature, culture, physical exercise, and outdoor recreation, with activities such as alpine yoga, guided walking tours, forest bathing, canyon ice walks, Athabasca Glacier visits, and Indigenous cultural sessions. Food and beverage services operate across four venues: Parker’s Table, Rimrock Social, The Listening Room, and Rimrock Market. Parker’s Table offers seasonal dishes made from ingredients sourced from regional foragers, fishermen, and agricultural producers. Rimrock Social serves as the central gathering lounge. The Listening Room features recorded vinyl music alongside rare spirits and wines. Rimrock Market sells packaged provisions and specialty coffees.
