Dubai’s luxury hotels are introducing added perks in 2026 as a strategy to avoid lowering room rates during a period of weak international demand following the U.S.-Iran war.

Atlantis Dubai Protects Rates While Offering Value to UAE Residents

Atlantis Dubai has preserved its published room rates while providing promotional offers. Kyp Charalambous, Vice President of Sales at Atlantis Dubai, told Skift that the hotel has maintained rate integrity throughout and continues to introduce offers, particularly aimed at UAE residents. These offers include resort credit, complimentary upgrades, and other benefits for guests who stay a specified number of nights.

Perks Include Dining Credit and Free Access to Waterpark and Aquarium

Guests staying at Atlantis The Royal, part of the Atlantis Dubai portfolio,

have recently received complimentary dining credit and free tickets to Aquaventure World, the waterpark located at Atlantis The Palm, and The Lost World Aquarium. These added amenities aim to enhance guest value without reducing room rates.

The strategy addresses challenges faced by Dubai’s luxury hotels in balancing the need to fill rooms against protecting rate levels amid continued weak international visitor numbers.
