Tsingshan’s Zimbabwe steel unit entered a partnership with the state railway firm in early October 2026 to boost freight haulage capacity within Zimbabwe, according to Reuters.
The collaboration seeks to improve freight transport efficiency and support logistics for the steel production sector. It aims to expand rail freight capabilities to meet increased industrial demands across the country.
