Disney Cruise Line will homeport its three newest Wish-class ships — Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny — at Port Canaveral, Florida, beginning with the 2027-2028 sailing season in November 2027. This will mark the first time all three vessels will operate from the same port, boosting options for travelers combining Disney cruises with Walt Disney World vacations.
Ship Deployments and Routes Leading to Port Canaveral
Before relocating to Port Canaveral, the Disney Wish will spend summer 2027 sailing in Europe, including a transatlantic journey from Southampton, UK, to New York City with stops in Scotland, Iceland, and Canada. In New York City, the Wish will offer
seven cruises to destinations such as Bermuda, Canada, and New England. Following these itineraries, the ship will move to Port Canaveral in November 2027 to operate three- and four-night Bahamian cruises with calls at Disney’s private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The Disney Destiny will transfer its homeport from Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral beginning November 2027. This move introduces heroes-and-villains-themed entertainment and dining experiences, including attractions inspired by “Hercules” and “Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King.” The Disney Treasure, also joining Port Canaveral at the same time, will feature “The Tale of Moana” as
its signature show during cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
Alongside these deployments, the Disney Fantasy will sail from Port Canaveral between September and November 2027. The Disney Dream will also operate briefly from Port Canaveral in 2027 before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale.
Fleet Expansion and Booking Information
The Disney Cruise Line fleet is expanding, with the Disney Believe, the fourth Wish-class ship, scheduled for launch in late 2027. Additionally, four more new ships are planned to join the fleet by 2029 and beyond, increasing the fleet’s total to 13 vessels.
Bookings for the fall 2027 cruises will open on August 31, 2026, for
select Castaway Club members. The general public will be able to reserve cruises starting September 8, 2026.

The simultaneous homeporting of the Disney Wish, Treasure, and Destiny at
Port Canaveral will offer families greater flexibility in selecting ships, cruise lengths, and destinations. This expansion makes it easier for travelers to add multi-night cruises adjacent to Walt Disney World visits.
The themed entertainment onboard the ships includes popular Disney stories and characters, enhancing onboard experiences. Guests can enjoy cruises to Caribbean locations such as The Bahamas, Bermuda, and other regional destinations while maintaining proximity to the Orlando-area theme parks.
