For the first time, Disney Cruise Line will have its three newest Wish-class ships – Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny – homeport together at Port Canaveral, Florida, starting in November 2027. This new deployment aligns with the cruise line’s release of its fall 2027 through spring 2028 itineraries and marks an expansion in cruise-to-theme park vacation options.
Disney Wish’s 2027 Itinerary Includes Europe, New York, and Port Canaveral
During summer 2027, the Disney Wish will sail in Europe, visiting various ports before concluding with a transatlantic crossing from Southampton, United Kingdom, to New York City that includes stops in Scotland, Iceland, and Canada. After this, the ship will offer
seven cruises from New York City to Bermuda, Canada, and New England, marking Disney Cruise Line’s return to New York departures since 2023.
On October 31, 2027, Disney Wish departs New York City bound for San Juan, Puerto Rico. Following two cruises from San Juan, the ship will reposition to Port Canaveral, arriving by November 16 to begin offering three- and four-night Bahamian cruises including visits to Disney’s private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny Join Wish-Class Fleet at Port Canaveral
Joining Disney Wish at Port Canaveral are Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, two sister ships of the Wish class, starting their deployments
in November 2027. Disney Treasure will feature “The Tale of Moana” as its signature show during Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.
Disney Destiny will relocate from Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral for the first time to offer three- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean. This move brings Disney Destiny’s heroes-and-villains-themed onboard entertainment closer to the Walt Disney World resort, enhancing combined vacation experiences.
Continued Presence of Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream at Port Canaveral
Prior to the Wish-class ships gathering, the Disney Fantasy will operate from Port Canaveral between September and November 2027. The Disney Dream is scheduled for a brief deployment at Port Canaveral before relocating
to Fort Lauderdale.
Fleet Expansion and Booking Details
The Disney Cruise Line fleet will expand to 13 ships by 2029, including the launch of the fourth Wish-class ship, Disney Believe, in late 2027, followed by four additional vessels arriving thereafter. Senior Vice President and General Manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations, Tracy Wilson, said, “we are delighted to return to a guest-favorite port in New York, and continue visiting destinations throughout the Caribbean and beyond with our growing fleet.”
Travel expert Beci Mahnken, founder and CEO of MEI-Travel and Mouse Fan Travel, highlighted the expanded Port Canaveral lineup, stating, “the expanded Port Canaveral line up
gives families even more flexibility to create the Disney land-and-sea vacation that works for their time and budget.”
Disney Cruise Line is opening bookings for fall 2027 cruises to select Castaway Club members on August 31, 2026, with general public bookings available starting September 8, 2026.
