The 2026 International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) is set for August 27 to 29 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. The event, which Vietnam recognises as its largest international travel exposition, expects participation from more than 260 international buyers and over 500 tourism companies and brands. Organisers have scheduled upwards of 21,000 business-to-business meetings during the three-day expo.
Major International Participants and Industry Reach
Major travel and tourism groups at ITE HCMC 2026 include TUI Group, DERTOUR, Flight Centre Travel Group, Trip.com, Goway, Thomas Cook, Ignite Travel Group, Remote Lands, and Uniworld TTC. The event
will also feature firms specialising in meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) tourism alongside multinational companies from diverse sectors.
Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Performance in 2026
In the first eight months of 2026, Ho Chi Minh City received 7.77 million international visitors, marking a year-on-year increase of 38.5%. Correspondingly, tourism revenue reached nearly VND260 trillion (approximately $9.88 billion), growing 48.8% compared to the same period in 2025, according to data from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism.
Scheduled just before Vietnam’s National Day on September 2, ITE HCMC 2026 aims to strengthen direct market access for local tourism enterprises. The expo is designed to create
avenues for new tourism product development and attract additional visitor segments.
