Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, the first Fairmont Hotels & Resorts property in Thailand, officially opened on August 23, 2026. Located in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit neighborhood, the luxury hotel offers 416 guest rooms developed through a partnership between Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC) and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor.
Luxury Lifestyle and MICE Destination in Bangkok
The hotel positions itself as a luxury lifestyle and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) venue, featuring more than 2,000 square meters of flexible event space across three dedicated floors. Facilities include the Signature Grand Ballroom with a 12-meter-high ceiling and dedicated arrival forecourt, a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms,
Couture Hall, and adaptable meeting spaces designed to host conferences, weddings, gala dinners, and executive meetings.
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit introduced a co-living concept offering flexible recreational and social areas beyond traditional pre-function spaces. These areas enable guests to relax, work, or connect through activities such as board games and video games, enhancing the hotel’s appeal as a MICE destination.
Design Inspiration and Sustainability Compliance
Designed to LEED Gold standards, the hotel incorporates biophilic elements, water recycling, smart energy systems, superior indoor air quality, electric vehicle charging stations, and a heat-reduction façade. The interior draws inspiration from Thailand’s floral heritage, with design by Thai practice PIA
and architecture by A49. Notable features include a lobby chandelier modeled on the golden Ratchaphruek blossom and signature uniforms created by Thai fashion house ASAVA.
Phased Opening of Dining and Entertainment Venues
Dining and entertainment offerings are being introduced incrementally throughout 2026. Key venues include Harper’s, a North American-French brasserie; AELA Social Bar; CAYA Pool Club; and Wiggle Room, an immersive supper club scheduled to open in mid-September 2026. Additional dining concepts are planned for levels 32 and 33 and the rooftop by December 2026, featuring an Italian restaurant with Japanese influences and a contemporary Thai rooftop dining experience with panoramic Bangkok views.
Wellness facilities include a
Fairmont Spa inspired by the jasmine flower, covering over 1,000 square meters, a Fairmont Studio for yoga and fitness, and dedicated family amenities.
