Aiden hotel brand is expanding rapidly in 2026 with more than 20 hotels currently in development worldwide and a portfolio that now includes 58 properties. The brand is part of BWH Hotels, a global hospitality group operating approximately 4,300 hotels under brands such as Best Western® Hotels & Resorts.
New Aiden Openings in 2026
Several Aiden hotels have opened so far this year in key international markets. In January 2026, Aiden by Best Western Velbert opened in Germany, marking growth in Europe. May 2026 brought two new Aiden hotels: Aiden Surawong Bangkok in Thailand with 77 rooms, and Aiden by Best Western Sacramento Downtown in
California, USA, which features a 55-foot mural by Northern California artist John Osgood. In June 2026, Aiden by Best Western Kansas City Downtown began welcoming guests, expanding the brand’s presence in the American Midwest.
Hotels Opening Late 2026 and 2027
Aiden plans further expansion with three openings scheduled for fall 2026: Aiden Denver, Aiden Tempe in Arizona, and Aiden Toronto Airport marking the brand’s first property in Canada with 145 rooms. Aiden Denver will highlight a rooftop venue named Rooftop Social, offering skyline views and food and beverage options. Aiden Tempe will introduce Burnt Flour, a novel concept focusing on wood-fired pizza and fresh dough. The
Toronto Airport hotel involves adaptive reuse of an office building and features a jazz-themed cocktail lounge alongside upscale design elements. In summer 2027, Aiden Pullman is set to open near Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, providing panoramic views of the Palouse hills.
Brand Initiatives and Design Philosophy
The Aiden brand emphasizes design-driven boutique hotels reflecting local community character. Its “Art Welcomes You In” initiative collaborates with local artists to create permanent installations in each hotel, enhancing the connection to the surrounding culture. This initiative debuted with the Sacramento Downtown property’s mural and will expand to Aiden Denver with commissioned artworks inspired by the local
arts scene.

That’s exactly what Aiden delivers.” He added that each hotel offers its own creative expression while benefiting from BWH’s global scale and support, a combination appealing strongly to guests and developers alike.
Aiden’s expansion connects travelers to unique, locally inspired boutique experiences in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Canada. It also integrates with the Best Western
Rewards® loyalty program, providing guests benefits across BWH Hotels’ 18 brands in more than 100 countries.
