Allegiant Air will expand its domestic network in early 2027 with nine new routes. Most of these routes are hyper-seasonal flights designed to link northern U.S. markets with warmer destinations during peak leisure periods.
The only year-round addition is a nonstop connection between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida, set to start on February 12, 2027. Additionally, seasonal service will begin between Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Sanford, Florida, operating from February 10 through April 17, 2027.
Seven other hyper-seasonal routes will connect various points in New England with Florida destinations. These routes aim to meet increased passenger demand during spring
break, although specific airports and dates for these flights have not been disclosed.
Allegiant Air highlights business model flexibility
Drew Wells, chief commercial officer of Allegiant Air, said, “We’re excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most.” He added that these expansions “reflect the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods.”
The new routes will provide travelers with more nonstop flight options between northern states and warm-weather vacation spots during critical travel windows,
particularly around spring break.
