Route Support and Economic Impact

The new nonstop service is backed by the JobsOhio Air Service Restoration program, which offers public-private partnerships and revenue guarantees to aid in retaining and expanding air service at airports including CVG. This flight aims to foster economic growth and facilitate improved access to both domestic and international markets from the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region.

Aircraft Configuration and Capacity

United Airlines will utilize

the Boeing 737-800 on the CVG to San Francisco route. This narrow-body aircraft will feature 166 seats, comprised of 16 first class and 150 economy seats, providing travelers with options for premium and standard seating on this daily nonstop service.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear highlighted the importance of the new route, stating, “This new, direct flight from CVG to San Francisco will help us welcome even more business and travelers to Our New Kentucky Home.” He described the launch as a valuable investment in Kentucky’s business climate and transportation infrastructure.

The CVG airport continues to expand its nonstop destination options
