United Airlines will introduce seasonal nonstop flights between West Palm Beach, Florida, and San Francisco, California, beginning November 7, 2026. The service will operate once weekly on Saturdays, providing direct travel from South Florida to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Laura Beebe, Director of the Palm Beach County Department of Airports, said the new route enhances the airline’s West Coast network and supports additional connections through United’s San Francisco hub. “United Airlines continues to expand travel options for our passengers, and we’re pleased to welcome new nonstop service to San Francisco,” Beebe stated. “This route strengthens our West Coast network
and provides additional connections through United’s San Francisco hub.”
Expansion of Services at Donald J. Trump International Airport
The launch of United’s San Francisco nonstop flight is part of a larger fall and winter 2026 expansion of air service at Donald J. Trump International Airport. United is also resuming flights to Washington Dulles and Houston on September 24, 2026, and Denver on October 25, 2026.
Other airlines are similarly resuming or beginning routes at the airport. Allegiant Air will resume service to Grand Rapids on October 1 and Cincinnati on November 19, 2026. Avelo Airlines resumes Wilmington, Delaware service on October 9. JetBlue Airways will restart flights to Los
Angeles on October 25, coinciding with Air Canada’s return to Toronto on the same date. Air Canada will also resume Montreal flights on December 2, 2026.
Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines will begin Denver and Los Angeles routes respectively on November 21, 2026. Breeze Airways plans December 17 starts to Columbus and Atlantic City, and Porter Airlines will resume Toronto service on the same day.
Travel Benefits for South Florida Passengers
The new United Airlines nonstop flight offers South Florida travelers a direct option to reach the San Francisco Bay Area without requiring connections. The service also connects to broader destinations across the western United
States and the Pacific Northwest via United’s San Francisco hub. Operating on Saturdays, the flight provides flexible weekend travel opportunities for leisure and business passengers.
Growing Air Connectivity at Palm Beach Airport
The entry of multiple resumed and new airline services at Donald J. Trump International Airport during fall and winter 2026 reflects an increase in regional air connectivity. United Airlines’ expansion on the West Coast through the San Francisco route complements these developments, enhancing access to major cities including Washington D.C., Houston, Denver, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Montreal.
