EasyJet has announced new additions to its winter 2026 flight schedule, including the resumption of flights from London Luton Airport to Pristina, Kosovo. This route will operate three times weekly beginning December 7, 2026, marking the airline’s first Pristina service from the UK in several years.
Starting November 20, 2026, EasyJet will begin two weekly flights between Bristol and Strasbourg, France. The airline is the exclusive direct carrier on this route. Additionally, on January 4, 2027, EasyJet will launch a domestic UK service connecting Belfast International Airport in Northern Ireland with Aberdeen Airport in northeast Scotland. This route, also served
twice weekly, has no direct competitors.
Tickets for these new services are now available. The routes will be complemented by package holiday offerings through EasyJet Holidays. The Pristina connection is designed to serve ethnic travel demand, particularly passengers visiting friends and relatives. The Strasbourg service targets seasonal demand for city tourism, while the Belfast to Aberdeen link focuses on regional business and leisure travelers, filling a gap caused by a lack of direct rail and road connections between these locations.
These niche routes carry economic risks due to typically volatile demand outside peak travel periods. The regional nature and absence
of feeder services make stable aircraft load factors critical for their ongoing viability. Competition from other low-cost carriers on short-haul UK routes also applies downward pressure on ticket prices and margins.
EasyJet’s winter 2026 schedule expansion reflects a strategic effort to address unmet market demand in European point-to-point travel and to strengthen regional UK connections. The airline aims to capitalize on ethnic travel to Eastern Europe, seasonal tourism in Strasbourg, and regional transport needs within the UK.
