Introduction of Basic Fares for Premium Seating
In addition to route adjustments, Delta introduced Basic fares for first class and business class seating to increase affordability. These fares, priced to save customers up to $200 compared to regular first-class tickets, include certain perks such as Zone 1 boarding and access to 180-degree lie-flat seats with privacy suites on select aircraft.
