EasyJet announced new routes for its winter 2026 flight schedule, restoring service to Pristina, Kosovo, and launching connections between Bristol and Strasbourg, as well as Belfast International and Aberdeen.

Starting December 7, 2026, EasyJet will resume flights to Pristina from London Luton Airport, operating three times weekly. The Bristol to Strasbourg route will begin November 20, 2026, with two weekly flights, where EasyJet will be the only direct operator. Additionally, from January 4, 2027, EasyJet will introduce a twice-weekly domestic service between Belfast International and Aberdeen in northeast Scotland, a route currently without direct competitors. Tickets for these new routes

are on sale, and package holidays will be available through EasyJet Holidays.

Market Strategy and Passenger Targets

EasyJet’s expansion targets gaps in European point-to-point and ethnic travel markets. The Pristina route focuses on passengers visiting family and friends in Kosovo. The Bristol-Strasbourg service aims at seasonal city tourism demand. The Belfast International to Aberdeen connection serves regional business and leisure travelers who rely on air transport due to limited direct rail and road links connecting Northern Ireland to northeast Scotland.

Economic and Competitive Considerations

The new niche routes face economic challenges, including fluctuating demand outside peak seasons and the absence of feeder services. Competition among low-cost carriers in Great

Britain places pressure on ticket margins for short-haul routes. The viability of these services depends on maintaining stable aircraft load factors during periods of lower demand after holiday seasons.

Passenger Benefits and Holiday Offerings

These new services provide passengers with additional direct flight options during winter 2026 without competing carriers on these routes. EasyJet Holidays will offer complementary package holiday options aligned with the new flight schedule, enhancing travel choices for customers.
