Oceania Cruises has unveiled more than 50 Signature Wellness Discovery Tours integrated into select cruise itineraries across Asia, Europe, and South America, focusing on health and wellness experiences rooted in local traditions. The cruise line announced this initiative on July 25, 2026, responding to increased demand for journeys that promote physical and mental wellbeing.
Wellness Discovery Tours Span Three Continents
The Signature Wellness Discovery Tours cover destinations including Bangkok, Thailand; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Santorini, Greece; Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in Vietnam; Rome (Civitavecchia) and Naples/Pompeii in Italy; Bilbao and Getxo in Spain; Hong Kong, China; and Puerto Chacabuco in Chile. Activities available through these
small-group tours include tai chi in Viharn Sien Park, Bangkok; Kandyan dance therapy in Colombo; yoga and wine tasting overlooking the Santorini caldera; traditional Chinese medicine consultations in Hong Kong involving acupuncture and cupping; mineral baths at the Thermal Baths of the Popes in Italy; and hot springs exploration in the Aysén Fjord region of Chile. The variety of experiences offers guests hands-on engagement with wellness practices embedded in local cultures.
Onboard Enrichment and Adults-Only Environment
Complementing the shore excursions, Oceania Cruises delivers enrichment programs aboard its ships with culinary lectures, cooking classes, food and beverage pairings, creative workshops, guest speakers, and live performances from
local musicians. The cruise line maintains an adults-only atmosphere on its intimate vessels, which feature a high crew-to-guest ratio focused on personalized service. These amenities enhance the overall travel experience as passengers embark on journeys ranging from seven to 180 days.
Executive Statements on Wellness Travel
