Strategic Role and Business Focus of ITB Americas

ITB Americas was established to create a single platform for the travel industry across the Americas, uniting markets that previously lacked a dedicated regional trade show. The event’s founder exhibitors aim to develop a long-term marketplace focusing on quality business interactions, strategic partnerships, and measurable commercial results rather than just high attendance volume.

The Hosted Buyers Program will link exhibitors with qualified international travel buyers whose business objectives align with those of the participating companies. This initiative reinforces ITB Americas as a commercial platform designed to facilitate relevant

business exchanges and growth.

Conference Program and Expected Industry Attendance

The conference accompanying ITB Americas includes more than 40 sessions addressing topics such as artificial intelligence, digital distribution, sustainability, emerging travel technologies, and the future industry landscape. The event expects attendance from over 5,000 travel industry professionals, facilitating networking, business development, and knowledge exchange.

Official Statement on ITB Americas’ Purpose

Vicente Salas Hesselbach, Vice President and Managing Director Americas at Messe Berlin, said, “ITB Americas was created to bring the Americas travel industry together in a way that has never existed before.” He noted the commitment from destinations, brands, and partners confirms the industry’s demand for a focused platform prioritizing quality connections

and strategic access to markets.
