Event Organization and Industry Purpose

Organized by Messe Berlin, ITB Americas aims to fill a longstanding gap by uniting the Americas travel market in one business platform. Vicente Salas Hesselbach, VP and Managing Director

Americas at Messe Berlin, said, “ITB Americas was created to bring the Americas travel industry together in a way that has never existed before.” He emphasized that the commitment from destinations, brands, and partners indicates a demand for a focused market platform facilitating quality connections and strategic partnerships.

Scale, Participation and Professional Engagement

The event expects over 5,000 industry professionals from more than 42 countries, with approximately 80% representing the Americas and 20% from international markets. The platform promotes quality over quantity, targeting senior-level participants and measurable commercial results. The Hosted Buyers Program will connect exhibitors with highly qualified international buyers aligned with their commercial

objectives, reinforcing the business-oriented focus of the trade show.

Conference Program and Strategic Market Role

ITB Americas 2026 will also feature a conference with more than 40 sessions covering topics such as artificial intelligence, digital distribution, sustainability, and emerging technologies. The conference aims to complement the trade event by offering thought leadership and insights relevant to the evolution of travel in the Americas. Founding exhibitors are instrumental in shaping this strategic marketplace and its long-term opportunities.
