Silversea Cruises has unveiled its 2028-2029 Voyage Collection, featuring 278 voyages visiting 497 destinations across 71 countries, with general sales opening July 9, 2026, according to www.paxnews.com.

Expanded Mediterranean Expeditions and New Itineraries

The collection includes Silversea’s largest-ever Mediterranean Expedition program, operated by Silver Wind, exploring the Adriatic Sea, Greek Isles, and Northern Africa. Ports include Milos, Amorgos, Folegandros, Algiers, Bejaia, Pantelleria, and a journey along Spain’s Guadalquivir River to Sevilla.

Silver Nova will have its inaugural Northern Europe season in 2028-29, sailing routes such as Norway’s Heritage Fjords and the Baltic. Silver Spirit starts its maiden season in Canada and New England, featuring extended stays

in Quebec City, Halifax, and Boston.

Enhanced Antarctica Fly Cruise Program

The Antarctica Fly Cruise program enhancement starting in 2028-29 allows guests to stay at The Cormorant at 55 South in Puerto Williams, Chile, before flying via private charter directly to Antarctica, bypassing the Drake Passage. Forty-one Antarctica voyages are scheduled aboard Silver Cloud, Silver Endeavour, and Silver Wind, including Christmas and New Year’s departures.

Cultural Events and Culinary Experiences

Voyages are scheduled to coincide with major cultural events like the Monaco Grand Prix, Japan’s matsuri festivals, Scandinavia’s midsummer celebrations, and Europe’s grape harvest season. The S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) culinary program continues to be offered. New land programs

have been introduced in Finland and the Seychelles.

60-Day Grand Mediterranean Voyage Highlights

The 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage aboard Silver Dawn departs on September 23, 2028, visiting 50 destinations in 13 countries. Ports of call include Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Amalfi, Menton, Naxos, and Roses. Exclusive events on this voyage include a private evening on Yiasemi Street in Athens and a Papal experience during an overnight stay in Rome.

Silversea Cruises President Bert Hernandez said the collection “reflects what Silversea does best – taking guests beyond the expected, to destinations and cultural moments that reveal the world in ways they didn’t expect.” He added the collection “offers

our guests a unique array of destination experiences, delivered in a way that only Silversea can.”

Expedition itineraries expand further with Silver Endeavour’s Baltic expedition program exploring Finland and Sweden, alongside Arctic, Greenland, British Isles, Polynesia, and Galápagos journeys. The collection includes more than 50 overnight port calls and extended stays to improve traveler access to destinations reachable only by smaller ships.
