MGallery Collection, part of the Accor Group, and Greek hospitality firm Colossos SA have agreed to develop the first MGallery hotel on the island of Rhodes. The new adults-only resort is under construction in the Kallithea area and is scheduled to open in spring 2027, offering panoramic views of the Aegean Sea.
Hotel Design and Location
The resort features a distinctive ten-storey spiral building that draws inspiration from Rhodes’s architectural heritage. Alongside the main tower, private pool bungalows and suites are integrated into the property’s design. The hotel will include 222 guestrooms, suites and bungalows, each positioned to provide uninterrupted views of the sea.
The property emphasizes privacy and tailored hospitality for its adult guests.
Dining and Wellness Facilities
MGallery Rhodes will offer one fine dining restaurant and four specialty restaurants, all overlooking the Aegean Sea. Several bars, including a signature cocktail bar designed to serve as a social hub, will provide beverage options. Wellness amenities consist of a 1,100 square meter spa featuring an indoor pool and hydromassage pool. Wellness treatments are being developed in partnership with Swiss skincare companies Valmont and Swiss Perfection. Recreational facilities include an outdoor fitness center, exercise trails, tennis courts, and padel courts.
Sustainability and Colossos SA Background
The project reflects Colossos SA’s commitment to sustainable tourism
and renewable energy investments. Colossos SA, a family-owned company established in 1958, holds other notable Rhodes properties such as Amada Colossos Resort and Rodos Park hotels. The company aims to balance luxury hospitality development with environmental stewardship on the island.
Strategic Importance and Brand Expansion
According to Accor’s MGallery leadership, the Rhodes hotel captures the island’s essence with its architecture and wellbeing focus. The collaboration is viewed as a strategic investment that enhances both companies’ presence in Greek and international markets. This new hotel will be among MGallery’s expanding portfolio in Greece, complementing six existing properties including those in Athens, Crete, Mykonos, and Samos. Globally,
the MGallery Collection now comprises over 125 boutique hotels with 56 more in the development pipeline.
