Frontier Airlines announced on July 11, 2026, that it will introduce new flight routes operating from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) starting mid-2026.
This expansion is part of Frontier Airlines’ efforts to capture business left by the closure of Spirit Airlines, expanding its presence at DTW and providing travelers from Detroit with additional direct destinations and increased flight options starting in 2026.
