This widespread operational disturbance affected multiple countries including Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, and Switzerland.
The disruptions prominently involved several major carriers such as Air France, ITA Airways, and Wizz Air Malta. Among the airports notably impacted were Milan’s and Rome’s facilities in Italy, Barcelona airport in Spain, and Lisbon airport in Portugal. These disruptions led to considerable challenges for travelers passing through these hubs.
