ZIPAIR will run four round-trip nonstop charter flights connecting Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) during February and March 2027. This direct service between Florida and Japan offers a travel time of about 14 hours.
Flight Schedule and Duration
The nonstop flights depart Narita in the morning, arriving in Orlando the same morning local time, and return from Orlando in the morning, landing at Narita the following afternoon. This schedule provides travelers a faster alternative compared to the 18-plus hours often required for itineraries involving connecting flights.
Ticket Sales and Vacation Packages
Standalone tickets for these charter flights will be available on ZIPAIR’s website starting
in late November 2026. Japanese travel agencies H.I.S., JTB, and Jalpak have already introduced vacation packages for the route that include Walt Disney World theme park admission, Disney-operated hotel accommodations, and airport transfers.
Historical Context and Significance
The first ZIPAIR nonstop charter flight from Tokyo Narita to Orlando arrived on February 23, 2026, marking the inaugural nonstop passenger service linking Florida with the Asia-Pacific region. Further charters followed in March and August 2026, establishing this route as a rare direct connection between two major Disney park destinations: Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan.
Official Perspective and Traveler Guidance
Lance Lyttle, Chief Executive Officer
of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, stated, “The excitement surrounding ZIPAIR’s first flights exceeded expectations and sent a clear message that travelers want this connection.” The charter flights operate subject to government approval, and the airline and airport authority have expressed hopes these charters could evolve into regular scheduled service.
Travelers planning trips should account for the fixed charter dates and opt for flexible hotel and park ticket arrangements to accommodate flight schedules. This direct service simplifies travel between Orlando and Tokyo and offers a new option for visitors moving between Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disney Resort.
