The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has released a forecast projecting that the tourism sector in Central and South America will experience a 4.1% growth in tourism GDP in 2026.
This anticipated increase exceeds the expected global average growth rate for the tourism industry. The projection attributes the stronger regional performance primarily to expanding domestic demand coupled with higher consumer spending within the area.
