The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has projected that the travel and tourism sector across Central and South America is expected to grow by approximately 4.1% in terms of GDP during 2026.
This rate of growth in the region’s travel sector is anticipated to surpass the average expansion seen globally. The advance is attributed in part to a rise in visitor expenditure coupled with robust demand for domestic travel within the region.
