During the exhibition, Uzbek companies conducted business meetings and negotiations with Saudi tour operators, travel agencies, and other stakeholders. Discussions centered
on forming partnership programs, boosting tourist arrivals from Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan, and co-developing joint tourism products. Marketing emphasized Uzbekistan’s offerings in cultural, historical, family-oriented, premium, and customized tourism.
Uzbek tourism representatives showcased destinations such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Tashkent, highlighting the country’s Great Silk Road heritage and modern hospitality infrastructure. Engagements with Saudi partners addressed visitor reception logistics, tailored routes for Gulf State travelers, and strategies to enhance Uzbekistan’s promotion in the Saudi travel market.
The participation at WTM Spotlight Riyadh 2026 allowed Uzbek companies to broaden direct contacts with Saudi tourism businesses and explore new collaboration opportunities.
