United Airlines will begin nonstop daily flights connecting Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut, with San Francisco International Airport on March 28, 2027. The new service will feature an evening departure from Bradley at 6:30 p.m. and operate year-round.
Expanded Connections from Bradley through San Francisco
Passengers from Bradley will gain direct access to United’s San Francisco hub, allowing connections to destinations across the western U.S., Asia, and Oceania. This addition brings United’s nonstop connections from Bradley to five of its eight U.S. hubs. Prior expansions include nonstop service to Houston, launched earlier in 2026. Bradley also currently maintains direct flights to Chicago, Denver, and Washington, D.C.
The Connecticut Airport Authority oversees Bradley’s operations.
Airport Upgrades Support Increased Traffic
Last year, Bradley International Airport received over $8 million in federal funding designated for enhancements and upgrades at Terminal A. The airport recently concluded a three-year security checkpoint expansion project that added additional corridors and TSA lanes to improve passenger flow and screening capacity.
