United Airlines will introduce daily nonstop flights from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to San Francisco starting October 25, 2026. The carrier will operate the route with Boeing 737-800 aircraft configured with 166 seats, including 16 in first class.

Official Support and Economic Impact

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said this flight is “a great investment in our state and our future” and added, “This new, direct flight from CVG to San Francisco will help us welcome even more business and travelers to Our New Kentucky Home.” The route launch received backing from the JobsOhio Air Service Restoration program, which provides public-private partnerships and revenue-guarantee incentives

to help Ohio airports maintain and grow commercial air service.

Expansion of CVG Nonstop Destinations

The addition of this route is part of CVG’s efforts to expand nonstop destinations for travelers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. The new daily nonstop service by United Airlines to San Francisco supports economic development by improving airport connectivity and offering travelers in the region a direct option to a major West Coast hub.
