United Airlines will introduce a new daily nonstop flight from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to San Francisco starting October 25, 2026. The airline will operate the route using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft configured with 166 seats, including 16 first class seats.

Economic Support and Official Endorsement

The route launch is backed by the JobsOhio Air Service Restoration program, which employs public-private partnerships and revenue-guarantee incentives to maintain and grow air service at Ohio airports. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear stated, “This new, direct flight from CVG to San Francisco will help us welcome even more business and travelers to Our New Kentucky Home.” He added,

“This was a great investment in our state and our future.”

CVG’s Strategy to Expand Nonstop Destinations

The addition of nonstop service to San Francisco aligns with continued efforts by CVG to broaden its range of nonstop destinations for travelers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. The direct connection aims to improve passenger access to domestic and international markets, potentially reducing travel times and limiting the need for connecting flights.
