Ryanair and easyJet have announced 47 new flight routes scheduled to begin in summer 2027 across Europe and northern Africa. Ryanair is launching 29 new routes, while easyJet introduces 18 new flights from 10 UK airports.
Ryanair Debuts 29 New Routes Across Europe and Morocco
Ryanair’s expansion includes 29 routes covering destinations in Italy, Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, and northern Morocco. Among the new services are Alicante to Naples, Athènes to Turin, Bari to Friedrichshafen and Oslo Torp. Sicily will have new connections including Catania to Wrocław, Palermo to Tirana and Marrakesh. Island routes launched include Bratislava to Chania, Leeds Bradford to Corfu, and Newcastle to Rhodes.
Croatia’s Dubrovnik will be linked with Warsaw Modlin. Portugal’s Porto will gain flights from Bournemouth, Exeter and Friedrichshafen. Spain sees new Ryanair flights such as Memmingen-Seville, Norwich-Málaga and Newcastle-Reus. Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast will have Burgas-Wrocław and Memmingen-Varna connections. Poland-Sweden links will expand with Gdańsk-Stockholm Skavsta. The airline also adds northern Moroccan routes connecting Alicante, Kraków and Turin with Tangier.
easyJet Adds 18 Routes From 10 UK Airports Including First UK Flights to Girona
easyJet announced 18 new routes serving eight countries from 10 UK airports, including six new Spanish destinations. The carrier will be the exclusive direct operator on 10 of these routes. easyJet will begin Liverpool to Girona flights on 28 March
2027, followed by London Gatwick to Girona on 3 June. Scottish airports gain new services: Aberdeen to Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca, and Edinburgh to Bilbao, Rome Fiumicino, Hamburg and Tivat. Birmingham will start flights to Tivat on 3 May and Milan Malpensa. Corsica will be served by new Manchester-Bastia flights from 29 June and London Gatwick-Ajaccio from 30 June. Other launches include Bristol-Montpellier on 1 July, Liverpool-Murcia, Bristol-Burgas, Newcastle-Larnaca, Southend-Rhodes from 27 April and Luton-Thessaloniki from 1 May.
New Routes from North American and Other Airlines for Summer 2027
Azerbaijan Airlines will introduce four weekly flights between Brussels and Baku starting 8 May 2027, as announced by Azerbaijan Tourism Board

American Airlines is adding Philadelphia-Porto, Philadelphia-Vienna, New York JFK-Amsterdam, New York JFK-Nice, and Charlotte-Barcelona routes for summer 2027. Delta Air Lines will launch daily Austin-Paris services beginning 27 March 2027. United Airlines will expand Newark operations to Ljubljana, Ibiza, Valencia, Marseille, Terceira (Azores), Olbia (Sardinia), Catania (Sicily), and start Washington Dulles-Toulouse flights. Air Canada will operate seasonal services from Toronto to Oslo, Shannon and Nice starting June, and Montréal to Dubrovnik and Basel in May and June respectively.

London Gatwick to Ajaccio and Bristol to Montpellier begin 30 June and 1 July, respectively. Southend to Rhodes will open 27 April, while Luton to Thessaloniki starts 1 May. Azerbaijan Airlines will operate Brussels-Baku flights four times weekly beginning 8 May 2027. Alaska Airlines’ Seattle-Athens and Seattle-Paris routes start on 12 and 25 May. Delta introduces its daily Austin-Paris service from 27 March.
